On April 16–17, the 11th Annual Conference of the Association of Psychiatrists of Ukraine, titled “Mental Health in Ukraine: Governance in Times of War, Planning for Peace,” took place in Kyiv.

This year, the Association, founded by Semen Gluzman, celebrates its 35th anniversary - an important milestone for the development of Ukraine’s mental health system.

The Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, together with international and national experts, has created the “National Model for the Provision of Care for People Who Use Substances and Those with Substance Use Disorders, Including Alcohol.”

The Ukraine Fogarty Research Training Workshop took place on March 26-28, 2026, at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. This dynamic event brought together trainees and faculty from NIH Fogarty International Center training programs focused on HIV, TB, substance use and mental health research, global health, and bioethics.

The workshop convened participants from three D43 training programs:

Kyiv, Ukraine – November 4, 2025

A national dialogue aimed at reaching consensus on the next steps for implementing primary prevention measures for psychoactive substance use was held in Kyiv. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and brought together key leaders, national stakeholders, and representatives of international organisations, including:

ISSUP Ukrayna ekibi ve ISSUP Ulusal Bölümler Koordinatörü, 24 Ekim 2023 tarihinde , İktisat Fakültesi öğrencileri için düzenlenen, ruh sağlığı ve madde kullanımı konularına ve modern koruma ve iyileşme stratejilerine adanmış Liderlik Okulu sempozyumuna katıldı.
