How the Global Opioid Epidemic is Affecting Women and Families; and Marijuana-Use Among Children, Teens, and Young Adults.
Due to the rise of homelessness and drug-related deaths in the UK, the Centre for Addictive Behaviours Research at London South Bank University and the London Drug and Alcohol Policy Forum are hosting a one day conference at the Guildhall focusing on contemporary issues of Homelessness, Substance Use and Addiction.
The Global Initiative on Substance Abuse (GISA) will be delivering substance abuse training sessions on Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC).
The training will consist of 9 courses and will take place in a non-residential training centre in Lagos State, Nigeria from the 15th till the 24th of January 2019.
The 8th International Conference on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder will take place March 6-9, 2019 in Vancouver, Canada.
The event will bring together global experts from multiple disciplines to share international research. From the pure science, to prevention, diagnosis and intervention across the lifespan, the conference will address the implications of this research and promote scientific/community collaboration.
