RESPOND TO THE ONLINE CONSULTATION

 

The global survey is part of a broader consultation process in preparation for the 2024 Mid-term review of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs. It aims to gather inputs from NGOs working on drug policy issues around the world.

By participating in the survey, you will contribute to a collective civil society voice that will be presented prior to the 67th CND and other relevant fora. Your responses will inform the development of a civil society report that will be jointly published by VNGOC & NYNGOC in 2024.

INTRODUCTION: The high rate of substance use highlights the need to intervene in the initial use prevention of smoking tobacco. The aim was to determine the efficacy of anti-smoking messages to motivate smoking cessation.

METHODS: It was hypothesised that the messages would reduce the frequency of smoking. The influence of the messages on the intention to smoke, negative emotions, perceived self-efficacy, and health behaviour was also measured. Relevant reliable and valid questionnaires were used to collect data for this experimental study.

La cuarta Conferencia Europea sobre Conductas Adictivas y Dependencias tuvo lugar en Lisboa del 23 al 25 de noviembre de 2022.

Bajo el tema general de Global Addictions, LxAddictions22 mostró investigaciones de vanguardia para ayudar a caracterizar, comprender y responder a la adicción y los comportamientos adictivos en la actualidad.
