ISSUP Kenya would like to invite you to their upcoming Webinar on Insights from Positive Psychology and Psychology of Religion as applied to treatment and recovery from addiction.

Sammy Ombisa and Ann Mumbi Waigwa will be leading a new INEP Plus Hybrid Facilitators Course beginning on 29th April at 8:30am EAT time.

Họ đã giới thiệu ISSUP với Dịch vụ Cảnh sát Hành chính và thảo luận về các lĩnh vực hợp tác có thể. Giám đốc có sự tham gia của Tiến sĩ Muthondeki, Trưởng khoa Sức khỏe Tâm thần, APS. Cuộc họp thành công sẽ được theo sau bởi một đề xuất xác định các lĩnh vực và phương thức hợp tác.

ISSUP-KENYA met up with local entrepreneurs interested in DDR under the auspices of Country Music Cafe through the Addictions Prevention and Rehabilitation Association of Kenya (APRAK). Discussed was prevention training, consultancy & advocacy. 

We were led by our President Dr. Pamela Nkirote Kaithuru, Secretary Dr. Jackie Anundo accompanied by myself Albert Muraya as PR/Media lead. 

ISSUP Kenya President Dr. Pamela Kaithuru represented us in a successful meeting with Women In Mental Health Interventions and Treatment (WIMIT). WIMIT is made up of women who run facilities dealing with SUD's prevention and treatment, most of them aimed at supporting women. Deliberations included strengthening professionalism through trainings, capacity enhancement and networking. There was an opportunity for their members who had not enrolled as members with ISSUP  to do so.

ISSUP (K) will be hosting a roundtable discussion on ending the triple threat: HIV infections; Sexual and Gender-based Violence; and Adolescent Pregnancies to commemorate World Aids Day on 1st December 2022, from 6-8pm led by our chapter President Dr.
