The National Cannabis Summit: Science, Policy and Best Practices will be held August 28-30, 2017, at the Grand Hyatt Denver, in Denver, Colorado.
The summit will look at how changing cannabis policy and norms impact:
This two-day symposium will provide participants with knowledge and skills to engage with and treat Hispanic and Latino clients whose presenting problems are at the intersection of substance use, mental health, and immigration, from initial assessment to recovery support.
Participants will be introduced to terminology, assessment and treatment strategies and models related to co-occurring treatment. The training will provide foundational knowledge on evidence-based practices in the field of behavioral health including differential diagnosis of individuals that have a substance use and mental health co-morbidity.
