As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community-based prevention in Malaysia, an engagement session was conducted with the Tagal communities in Lawas, Sarawak, bringing together leaders and members from three villages.
This introductory meeting focused on initiating dialogue and building trust as the foundation for a Family Program. Rather than introducing a fixed intervention, the approach emphasised community ownership, cultural sensitivity, and co-creation.
