The trainee will be allocated within the Substance use, harms and responses unit, and the selected candidate will be reporting to the Head of the Health and social responses sector.
The successful applicant will be requested to perform the following main tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the sector’s organisational activities, such as the Health and Social Responses meeting.
- Support the project management of PLATO 0.2, EU-COMP and EU-QUALITY.
- Collaborate in the development of the webinars, the Best Practice Portal and the Responses Guide.
- To support the organisational and technical implementation of ongoing projects, including evidence gap maps (EGMs), expert knowledge elicitation (EKE), mapping of treatment services, and the use of AI in systematic reviews..
- Participate in sector meetings, supporting preparation to representing the agency/sector at conferences and meetings, identifying their own project.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway or Türkiye. Candidates from other countries may apply.
- Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service.
- Be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
- Have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications.
- Have a thorough knowledge of oral and written English.
General selection requirements:
- A completed university degree in public health, epidemiology, criminology, biology, sociology, psychology, law, or international relations.
- The candidate must show a genuine interest for learning in practice, resilience, respect and intention to teamwork.
