National Chapters

A finales del año 2021, se llevó a cabo la primera reunión de presentación ISSUP España para socios españoles.

2021 has been an exciting year for the National Chapters with many exceptional activities delivered. As we say goodbye to 2021 and welcome 2022, we would like to say a big thank you to the National Chapters and we look forward to achieving even greater heights in 2022 than has already been achieved in 2021. Here is a summary of highlights from the past year.

We are delighted to welcome a new member of staff to the ISSUP team in November. Barbara Correa joins us in the brand new role of Coordinator for Spanish and Portuguese speaking National Chapters. 

On 10 November 2021, ISSUP’s National Chapters got together for a virtual meeting. We were joined by 26 countries and welcomed our newest National Chapters to the family – Spain, The Gambia and Botswana.

At the end of September ISSUP organised its first National Chapters Advisory Committee Meeting after the set-up of the National Chapter Advisory Committee.

ISSUP Nigeria is pleased to welcome the Federal Cooperative College Kaduna as a student wing member of ISSUP Nigeria National Chapter following their successful inauguration ceremony on Tuesday 17th August 2021. ISSUP Nigeria is even more eager to serve the student body.

On Thursday 22nd of July 2021 it was an honour to welcome attendees to the formal launch of ISSUP South Africa, held during the ADDICTION 2021 Virtual Conference.

The International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) would like to share its intention to establish a National Chapter in the Philippines.

ISSUP Italy held a successful launch event on Monday, 28 June 2021.
