Στόχος του εκπαιδευτικού έργου ΕΠΔΑ είναι η επίτευξη αποτελεσματικών αποτελεσμάτων πρόληψης των ναρκωτικών σε ολόκληρη την Ευρώπη, με βάση την ανάλυση των συστημάτων πρόληψης και την ευρεία επαγγελματική κατάρτιση.

Το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα ASAP θα εργαστεί για τον εντοπισμό των πλεονεκτημάτων και των αδυναμιών των διαφόρων συστημάτων πρόληψης των χωρών της ΕΕ και την εφαρμογή εκπαιδευτικών παρεμβάσεων για τη διάδοση των ευρωπαϊκών προτύπων ποιότητας για την πρόληψη των ναρκωτικών.
