The international gathering of Therapeutic Communities will be taking place between 18-20 May 2026 in Genoa, Italy. The Symposium's mission is to "innovate treatment pathways and social reintegration" for the next decade, drafting of the Genoa Charter 2026-2036.

The “Engaging Youth in Prevention” course has officially begun, organised by the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) of the Organization of American States (OAS) in collaboration with ISSUP Mexico, hosted by Youth Integration Centers (CIJ). As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community-based prevention in Malaysia, an engagement session was conducted with the Tagal communities in Lawas, Sarawak, bringing together leaders and members from three villages.
This introductory meeting focused on initiating dialogue and building trust as the foundation for a Family Program. Rather than introducing a fixed intervention, the approach emphasised community ownership, cultural sensitivity, and co-creation.
