Call for Abstracts: Lisbon Addictions

The 2027 edition of Lisbon Addictions will take place from 20–22 October 2027 under the overarching theme ‘Addiction in times of disruption: science, technology and whole-of-society responses’.

Submission of abstracts

Potential contributors are invited to submit abstracts via the official submission portal in one of the main thematic tracks.

Applicants will be informed by email whether their abstract has been accepted for inclusion in the conference programme. After this notification of acceptance, applicants will have two weeks to register for the conference at the early-bird rate. Abstracts will only be included in the conference programme after the registration process is complete.

Submissions are welcome across the broad field of addiction science, policy and practice. We particularly welcome work that helps understand emerging change, anticipate future challenges, test or implement innovative responses, strengthen resilience, or connect evidence with policy, practice and communities.
