About the Position
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and delivery of projects aligned with CCSA’s priorities. This role works as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing operational support across the project lifecycle, including monitoring timelines and deliverables, coordinating with internal resources and external partners and maintaining project documentation using various project management tools.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- In collaboration with the project team, support the planning, execution and close-out of projects in alignment with the approved scope, timelines, deliverables, and budget. Develop and maintain project charters, work back schedules and other tracking tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Monitor and prepare regular project status updates through meeting summaries, presentations, reports, and other documentation
- Identify, communicate and document project risks and issues, escalating if necessary
- Ensure the active participation, satisfaction and commitment of partners collaborating on CCSA projects through ongoing communication and support
- Coordinate and follow up on project activities, dependencies and outstanding items with internal resources and external partners
- Support timely coordination of project budgets, vendor procurement, contract and purchase order processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management tools and processes
