Dr. Mohd Nazri Bin Mohd Daud, Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, has been honored with the Global DDR–Drug Demand Reduction Excellence Award 2025 by Ecolink Institute, India.
This international recognition highlights Dr. Nazri’s tireless efforts in promoting mental health and reducing drug demand through compassionate care, impactful community programs, and evidence-based interventions. Since 2021, his leadership has inspired countless lives across Malaysia and beyond.
A proud alumnus of the Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) and an ICAP-Credentialed Addiction Professional under the Colombo Plan, Dr. Nazri continues to raise the bar in prevention, treatment, and recovery.
The award was presented in the esteemed presence of Dr. Carmel Clancy, Director of CCA–ICUDDR, marking a global celebration of professional excellence and mental health advocacy.
