Dr. Inpa obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, and later pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Healthcare Management with Merit at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. He holds board certifications and diplomas in general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and community mental health. With extensive experience spanning clinical services, academic development, health policy, and public health administration, Dr. Inpa has played a pivotal role in shaping national policies related to addiction treatment and rehabilitation.
He has contributed significantly to the development of national guidelines, the establishment of data centres for addiction treatment, and the advancement of community-based care and integrated social services in Thailand. He has also served on numerous national expert advisory committees.
Dr. Inpa's research interests include mental health, substance use disorders, and health systems strengthening. Internationally, he has represented Thailand in key forums, including the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) on the World Drug Problem and policymaker training programs hosted by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
