ISSUP Uganda, hosted by the Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL), was honoured to host Ms. Jeptum Bargoria, Head of Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Uganda Office, during a courtesy visit held on 15 June 2026 at the UYDEL Secretariat.
The meeting was led by the Executive Director of UYDEL, Dr. Rogers Kasirye, together with members of the UYDEL team, and focused on strengthening collaboration in the areas of crime prevention, youth empowerment, justice, drug use prevention, and community resilience.
The visit provided an opportunity for discussions on shared priorities and ongoing efforts to support young people and communities across Uganda.
ISSUP Uganda appreciates the continued partnership with UNODC and its commitment to advancing safer and healthier communities for young people throughout the country.
The consultation forms part of ISSUP Uganda's ongoing efforts, under the leadership of Dr. Rogers Kasirye, Director of ISSUP Uganda and Executive Director of Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL), to promote evidence-based approaches to crime prevention, youth empowerment, and community resilience across Uganda.
