Call for Proposals: Prevention of hepatitis C among key populations
Unitaid is soliciting proposals that aim to catalyze the integration of HCV prevention and treatment in community harm reduction settings and prisons and that demonstrate a person-centered approach to the prevention of HCV for some of the most marginalized people, thereby reducing HCV incidence and prevalence and contributing to achieving the global targets for HCV elimination.
Through this Call for Proposals, Unitaid aims to catalyze HCV prevention among key populations in the following ways:
Alcohol Consumption and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) RNA Levels in HIV/HCV Coinfected Patients
HepHIV 2021
The next HepHIV conference will take place 5-7 May 2021 involving participants from across the community, public health and the health system. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the HepHIV2021 Lisbon Conference will take place via a virtual platform. A Portuguese national meeting will be arranged if feasible.
EU HCV Elimination Policy Summit
Despite the progress that has been made in recent years, HCV remains a major public health problem in Europe. In the European Union (EU) more people die each year from HCV than from HIV/AIDS.
